June 2001
I now have about 5,000 Km on the transmission that I rebuilt. So far
all is perfect. No leaks or even sweats. The transmission has never
shifted better. (more)

May 2001
After 59,000 Km on my $1,200
transmission rebuild to replace a worn out differential bearing, it was
leaking again. The driver's side CV had too much play due to the bearing
being worn out and that caused the leak.
This time I decided to fix it
right, and do it myself. I have removed transmissions before to replace
a clutch, but I have never split the transmission case. Here is
what happened.
Also, you will find our
first and finest movie, Maximum Maxima Melt, where I do the *BEST*
burn out that I have ever seen on video. (Never mind for a 4 door
sedan!)
